How to solve SBCglobal Email Account Sending Spam Error?

Yahoo provides an email service known as SBCglobal Email service. It provides two different email plan- Paid or free email services. Paid plan for the business purpose and other for general use. Most of the person uses free plan of the mail service. There is some difference between the paid and free plan; we are telling some features related to the free plan.

In free email plan, it gives-



  • It gives 1TB, Email storage capacity.
  • Maximum file attachment size 25MB, but you can expend it up to 100MB.
  • If you didn’t login account within 12 months, your account may be deleted.
  • Spam and virus protection security also provide, to save all the emails from viruses.
  • It supports POP3 & IMAP protocols for sending and receiving emails.

1. Your account may be hacked-


If your account sending spams to the other addresses, it means there are some problems in your account address and password. It may happen that somebody hacked your email account. And sending spams to other accounts.

If your account has been hacked by someone, you can follow some tips to fix this problem.


I. Change your account password- if your account has been hacked. You should login to your account and change the password quickly. Now, you should create a strong password (password having more than 8 characters and the combination of some special characters, alphabet, capital words, numbers) to secure your account. It will help your account to hack by the hackers.

II. Use firewalls and anti-virus in your system- After creating a strong password, you should install firewalls and updated anti-virus. Because both of them saves our data and information to hack. If any virus, spam comes in your system they can detect it and kill.

2. Set message limit- You should set the message sending limit in your account settings. If your email sending limit has been completed, you have to wait for some time. It will help you to send more spams. It is necessary to save other accounts for spams problem.

3. Blocked Email Address- you can block all the addresses from which your account receives spams and dangerous emails. If you want, you can follow the process to handle the problem.

a.         Click on the Gear icon of SBCglobal account.
b.         Click on mail pitons to change your account settings.
c.         Now, search Advance option.
d.         Click on Block address.
e.         Now, you can note down the address of the sender mail.
f.          And click on the done button, it will automatically delete all the emails related to this address.

4. Delete your account- If your problem has not fixed yet, you should delete your account. It is necessary for the person to save all the valuable information to the public.

5. Update account settings- You can update your account settings also, because if your setting like password, username, and server settings. Nobody can steal your information and your account will be safe from hacking.

6. Contact with customer support- If your problem has not been fixed yet, it means you have to consult with your account experts, they listen to all your issue and provide valuable information related to your problem.
